Private Bike tour to the fabulous Villa Reale
Ride In Nature On The Serchio River Cycle Path And Discover Villa Reale!
Lucca countryside is the ideal setting for cycling excursions and is easily accessible from the city center.
Thanks to the Serchio river cycle path, in fact, you can avoid road traffic and reach the area of historic villas in a short time, where you can admire some of the most beautiful ancient houses in Tuscany: Villa Oliva, Villa Grabau and Villa Reale.
In particular, we will visit Villa Reale, which was the home, among others, of Princess Elisa Bonaparte, Napoleon's sister and it’s wonderful park. We will walk in the estate among elegant Italian gardens, sculptures and noble buildings, and we will stop to relax on the lawn or for a break at the villa cafè, before coming back to Lucca.
The bike tour is about 15 km, mostly flat. We will leave the bikes at the villa's ticket office and continue on foot with the guide. The way back will be a little shorter, 12 km, about one hour, and we will be back in Lucca at about 6.30 pm
The included bike is a trekking bike, as the tour is mostly flat and partially off-road. Electric bikes are available upon request, but only for adults and those over 155cm/5'1" tall.
